Torn face makeup
Budget and time constraints meant life casting and ready made prosthetics were not possible for this makeup. Instead, we utilised a combination of 2D and 3D techniques straight out of the bag to achieve the desired effect.
Muscle and sinew was painstakingly hand painted first. Despite the exposed flesh being a 2D effect, the 3D illusion is striking, as the closeup opposite shows.
