Pallour was simulated with a tiny amount of green foundation over the entire skin. 2D stab wounds were created using fresh scratch and Dermacolor.

Dermawax was employed to hide the baseplate attaching the fake knife to this chap's head.

Finally, a liberal sprinkling of fake blood and the murder scene was ready to shoot!
